The story behind the development of Level 99

-About the start of Level 99
Recently, Toys Heart released Seventeen Reality as a single-layered, thick, realistic onahole, not a double-layered one, but by providing a proper realistic experience, it has become a super popular product that is threatening other Seventeen series.

The Seventeen series, which is synonymous with Toys Heart, originally started with a double-layered structure, so I always had a vague feeling that it was okay to continue selling as a single-layered onahole. Since it is selling well, it is accepted by users, so there is probably no problem (lol)

After that, we had several development meetings and gradually exchanged opinions on whether we could recreate a new feeling of use that had never been seen before with a double-layered structure, but there were still limits to what we could do just by making a difference in the softness of the material, and we couldn't make anything very interesting. So we thought, "The only thing I can think of is to embed a material as hard as plastic in this! But I think it will be interesting, so let's try it," but it hurt more than we thought. ...I immediately thought this wouldn't work (laughs).

I realized that just putting all the interesting ideas into one thing doesn't necessarily make a good product. Then, during an internal meeting, the idea came up of "wouldn't it be the first time in history that we could use a collaboration between different materials, not just different material hardness?" We immediately looked into it, and found that no other companies had made a masturbator with a collaboration of different materials. However, we agreed that "for now, it's 100% certain that Toys Heart will be the first in history," and development began.

From there, we stopped thinking about unnecessary things like adding plastic materials, and instead focused on "let people have fun with the two-layer structure!" and "The potential of Toys Heart's two-layer structure masturbator is much more than that!", and everyone worked hard with the goal of "Defeat! At the time, everyone was so enthusiastic that no one noticed that "Will this be the one to beat out our flagship product, the two-layered Seventeen series...?" -About the product name and concept
Now, going back to the topic, "Level 99" wasn't originally named that way. There were many naming ideas that wanted to emphasize things like "desire max" or the feeling of pleasure or desire at its maximum, but nothing really suited it, so we kept checking the feel of the product and going through trial and error without deciding on a product name. Among them, the collaboration of different materials was not interesting at all, as it felt the same as the usual two-layer structure. "This is not a Seventeen defeat, it's just a normal two-layer masturbator that you can find anywhere," I thought, and there was a slight mood of resignation. At that time, I happened to be cutting and collecting pieces of the masturbator, and it looked like yellowtail sashimi! It may sound like I'm playing around, but while I was talking about how I wanted to eat yellowtail sashimi, how I didn't like the bloody part, and how delicious that part was, my eye fell on the ratio of the bloody part of the yellowtail to the white part. As the next prototype, I immediately redesigned the inner material so that there were thick and thin parts, and when I tried making prototypes with several materials, a strange change occurred in the thickness, and for some reason some employees had the illusion of thinking, "Huh? Is it shaped just for me?" But everyone's size down there is different, so it's a complete illusion. However, as I continued to use it, the illusion of gradually becoming more familiar occurred, and it gradually changed into a strange sensation that could be described as a delusion that "this feeling of being tormented just for me has become stronger, right?" It was really interesting.

From there, the naming proposal that best expressed this feeling was born, "Level 99 - Raise it by one more level with your own hands." I remember we all unanimously deciding on it, saying, "Interesting!!"

Once that was decided, everyone got used to it, and the work progressed smoothly. As the completion approached, with repeated trial and error of illustrations and package design to express this strange and wonderful feeling of use, the excitement in the company increased. Around that time, everyone started to notice. "Huh? What if this sells better than the Seventeen series (sweats)."

But there was no turning back now. All we had to do was release it. And then, I noticed something else. Someone said, "We released "Level 69" in the past! You've leveled up without even realizing it!" If you check the history, you'll find that it was released about 20 years ago, but everyone thinks the same way (lol). I hope you'll read it as a funny story about how Toys Heart accidentally created a product with a similar name.

-About the illustrations

Amidst the conflicting thoughts of "Defeat the Seventeen Series!" and "What if it sells better than the Seventeen Series?", we decided to ask Akatsuki Sei, who draws the illustrations for Seventeen Bordeaux, to draw it.

When we created two types of character images for a cute girl who seems like she could exist in real life, there were a lot of opinions within the company that recommended Akatsuki Sei by chance. Even though we weren't thinking about Seventeen, we ended up asking the same illustrator, Akatsuki Sei. I remember feeling relieved when we received a reply so quickly, even though it had been a long time since we had last requested something.
